I remember last year in Paris, turning on my computer and checking something on Google, and like magic, everything was in french...then I got to Italy and presto, everything is in italian. (Read this in a dramatic voice): Google knows where you are..........
It has to do with the IP address. It's possible to "spoof" that using a VPN connection. We do it all the time in order to watch TV in other countries! Hmm, by "we" I mean the IT guy to whom I'm married.
